Open a stream to your system and push your data through a distribution configuration.
- Click the distribution icon and choose Configuration
- Click on the + button
Step 1. Init your distribution
Fill in the general information.
- Code: unique identifier for the distribution, can't be updated once set
- Name: descriptive name for the distribution, can be updated after creation
- Notes: additional free-text information about the distribution
- Active: indicates if the distribution flow is on or off
Step 2. Select your devices
- Unused devices group can be deleted by clicking the bin icon
Step 3. Select your data types and format
- Click on the + button to create a new distribution format
Step 4. Select your distribution endpoint
- Code: unique identifier of the endpoint, can't be updated once set
- Protocol: choose between 3 delivery protocols, HTTP, MQTT and SMTP

HTTP - POST method
- Url: http or https url of your endpoint, dynamic url may be used
- Authentication: choose betweeb NONE, CUSTOM, BASIC, BEARER_TOKEN and MUTUAL_TLS
- Headers: additional information in your http request header

MQTT - version 3
- Url: mqtt or mqtts url of your endpoint, dynamic url may be used
- QoS: Quality of Service of your request
- Topic: Topic under which to publish your request
- ClientId: ClientId for your request
- Authentication: choose NONE, BASIC or MUTUAL_TLS

SMTP
- Data encapsulation: choose INLINED (in email body) or ATTACHED (in email attachement)
- Emails: list of email recipients separated by “;”

- Notes: additional free-text information about the endpoint

Check the distribution logs
- Click the distribution icon and choose Logs

Apply filters, and click search to display data.
- Time period: limit search to the last 12-months
- Search window up to 3 months
- Device ID: unique ID in decimal format
- Log details: click a log row to see details
Information displayed
- ID: distribution message identifier
- Device ID: transmitting device identifier
- Device Address: network device ID in hexadecimal format
- Date: message distribution time in UTC
- Distribution ID: distribution reference
- Data type:
- arg-raw: raw message (all messages)
- arg-prc: processed message (messages from 28-bit address devices with a codec declared)
- Data ID: message or location ID
- Status: Ready, Success or Error (see message in log details for additional information)
